P3 used cubes to weigh class objects and compared the mass of these objects. After, P3 learnt gram is a standard unit of measurement. It is a word used to describe the mass of an object. They learnt 1000g equals 1kg. P3 enjoyed measuring the mass of the teachers' shopping bag items. They compared the weight of various food items using key words of heavier and lighter making sensible estimates of how many grams/kgs each weighed. P3s used scales to measure the mass of each item remembering to ensure the arrow pointed to 0g before weighing each item.
