Use of Archived School Photographs and Pupil Names – 50th Anniversary Celebrations

As we prepare for our 50th Anniversary events, the school will be exhibiting archived photographs and related historical materials that may include images of former pupils and staff, along with names where available. These photographs form part of the school’s legitimate historical record.

In accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, we are making past pupils aware that:

• Purpose: These materials will be used solely for commemorative and historical purposes connected to our 50th Anniversary celebrations.
• Lawful Basis: The processing of archived images and names is carried out under the lawful basis of legitimate interests in preserving and celebrating the school’s heritage.
• Your Rights: If you believe you are identifiable in any photograph and do not wish it to be used, you have the right to object. You may request that your image or name be removed from displays or digital publications.
• How to Contact Us: To raise a concern or request removal, please contact igallagher887@c2ken.net by 3pm on Fri 13th March. We will respond promptly to all requests.
