St Scire’s P.S. 50th Anniversary – Guest Tea Celebration!

We’re delighted to share more details about our upcoming Guest Tea to celebrate 50 wonderful years of St Scire’s Primary School! This will be a fantastic evening for the entire community – pupils past and present, parents, grandparents, friends, neighbours and classmates from years gone by.
How the Guest Tea Works
A Guest Tea is a warm, community spirited event where:
An individual or couple books a table (Host) (usually 10 places).
- They invite friends, family or classmates to join them for the evening.
- The Host provides food, refreshments for their own table.
- Tea & coffee will be supplied by the organising group. (Staff)
- Live Music will be provided
- Guests can make a donation at their table on the night.

All funds raised will go towards St Scire’s P.S., with a substantial donation also being made to the incredible charity Mary’s Meals, thus our celebration will leave a meaningful legacy. The charity’s mission—feeding children in school—aligns with our core educational values and is easy for pupils to understand. Fundraising for Mary’s Meals also reflects compassion, global citizenship, and a commitment to supporting children’s education worldwide.

We are inviting past pupils, local businesses and friends of the school to sponsor a table.
For £100, your business name/logo will be displayed on a table at this special 50th Anniversary event.

As part of the celebrations, we’re gathering photos from 1976 right up to the present day—class groups, individual pupils, special events… anything that captures the spirit of St Scire’s!
We know many of you intend to search out those treasured photos, but we would really appreciate if you could do this as soon as possible.
