P7 Confirmation Retreat
Today Primary 7 had their Confirmation retreat. It was a very enjoyable and meaningful experience. It gave us important time out of our normal school routine to focus on our faith and our preparation for Confirmation.
We took part in a variety of group activities, including a tower?building challenge which helped us learn about teamwork, communication and supporting one another. We also enjoyed a creative art activity, where we were able to express our thoughts and feelings about faith in a different way.
The retreat was shared with pupils from Knocknagor School, which gave us a chance to meet others and work collaboratively.
Prayer was an important part of the day and helped us reflect quietly on our relationship with God. We learned more about the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how these can guide us in our daily lives, especially as we prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Overall, the retreat was a positive and memorable experience that we really enjoyed. We are grateful that it was paid for by the parish, and we appreciate the opportunity to deepen our faith in such a supportive and welcoming environment.
