P2 used their handspans, feet, cubes and paperclips to measure and compare the lengths of different objects in their books and around the classroom. P3 enjoyed using rulers and metre sticks to measure and compare the lengths of a variety of objects. P2/P3 enjoyed helping the giant from 'Jack and the Beanstalk' investigate which Jack left the footprints in our classroom. We used standard and non-standard units of measurement to find the culprit.
