Fermanagh and Omagh District Council have kindly provided funding to support a Healthy Break Initiative in our schools. This funding enables us to offer a free healthy snack for every child at break time over the next few weeks.
The aim of this initiative is to encourage children to enjoy fruit and make positive, healthy choices as part of their daily routine.
Our Primary Seven girls are especially enjoying taking orders, sorting, and delivering fruit to all 132 pupils each day. This has given them a wonderful opportunity to take responsibility, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the smooth running of the programme.
We are delighted to take part in this programme and look forward to promoting healthy habits with all our pupils.
